To deliver the highest standard of hospitality to staff and clients and to continuously monitor and adapt the service whether in house or outside entertainment.
To manage the repair and upkeep of the building and to keep it in good repair and functioning and within the Health and Safety regulations.
Reporting to David Smith, Chief Executive Officer and liaising with all department heads.
RUNNING DEPARTMENT, RECEPTION AND HOSPITALITY
Hiring, appraising, managing, training and firing the Runners and all things to do with them including organising the shifts, covering sickness and holiday. How the department is staffed and run day to day.
Hospitality – to include client (and staff) services in house, client entertainment, party arrangements, company parties, BBQ’s.
Reception – all administration of the reception area and staffing to include choosing and managing courier companies, managing the receptionist, overseeing systems involving receptionist.
SMALL COST CONTROL
Controlling and managing following cost centres for management account reporting:
client food (for entertaining e.g BBQ’s)
small (under £100) and large (up to £1,000) costs in the kitchen
entertaining and hospitality
Be the point of contact for any repairs.
Keep building repaired and manage maintenance of air conditioning (alongside Head Engineer), small machines i.e. kettle, coffee machine, chairs etc.
All large items of cost or repair (when item/s exceed £1,000) are to be discussed and approved by Dave. Any internal or external decoration or design issues such as signs, painting walls, furniture, lighting will also be discussed and worked through with Dave.
